A Family Business Breakfast was organised by the Gozo Business Chamber on the 18th September 2018 at Hotel Ta’ Cenc & Spa in Sannat, Gozo. A number of well-known business persons took part in a panel discussion wherein they described their experience and the decisions they had to take when they decided it was time to hand over the reigns of their businesses to their next generation. The business breakfast was moderated by Elaine Camilleri, Tax Partner of ACT, who is also the Secretary of the Council administering the Chamber.
After the panel discussion, Dr. Nadine Lia, the Regulator for Family Business delivered a speech on the Family Business Act. The breakfast was well attended which shows the importance that Gozitan owners of businesses give to the fact that they need to actively plan well in advance before passing their business on to the next generation.
