ACT were the proud sponsors of an event organised by the Filipino Community in Malta celebrating the 121st Independence Day, held on Sunday the 16th June 2019 in Valletta. Roger A. Strickland the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of the Philippines also attended the event.
Over the past few years, the Filipino community in Malta has increased. This is mainly due to the increased work opportunities in Malta mainly in the health sector as well as to the heavy demand for household workers. The financial services sector is also booming, with many firms opting to recruit fully qualified accountants and auditors from the Philippines.
